Just 2 steps away from the Indian Ocean lies Zatiny, the tiny restaurant of Boutique Hotel Matlai where I trusted to be a new home-sweet-home for my Duyên - Vietnamese Home Cooking. Here you will find our chefs experimenting with fresh mint, coriander, ginger, cardamon, turmeric, star anise and many other exotic spices. Many guests visiting Zanzibar enjoy discovering Vietnamese food as a refreshing alternative to seafood and international cuisine on the island.
Our menu selection is very specific in Vietnamese cuisine, but more than that, we try to follow the recipes & technique of my mother back home in Northern Vietnam.
After 3.5 years in Jambiani Duyên Home Cooking moved to Matlai as a part of Zatiny Restaurant and Beach Bar.
